Terms of service
Last updated 8 October 2026.
Draft. This page has not been reviewed by a lawyer yet. Do not publish the site until it has, and until every highlighted item below is filled in.
1. Who we are
These terms are between you and [[Add: business.legalName]], CAC registration [[Add: business.cacNumber]], trading as KitBroker ("we"). Our address is [[Add: business.street]], [[Add: business.city]], [[Add: business.state]]. You can reach us at [[Add: business.email]] or [[Add: business.phone]].
2. Requests and quotes
You start by sending an inspection request on the site. A technician inspects and we send you a quote based on the inspection report. The quote is valid until the date shown on it. A job begins when you accept the quote and your payment is confirmed. The chat assistant gives general answers only. It does not give prices or quotes.
3. Prices
Prices are in Nigerian naira and include [[Add: whether prices include VAT]]. The inspection fee is shown before you pay it, and it is taken off the quote if you go ahead. The quote shows the materials, the delivery and the labour as one total. If we find a pricing error, we will tell you before we accept payment and you can cancel without charge.
4. Payment
You pay through Paystack or Monnify. Your payment is treated as received when the provider confirms it to us. We do not see or store your card or bank details.
5. Delivery
Delivery time: [[Add: delivery times and fees]]. You must give an accurate address and be reachable on the phone number you gave.
6. Installation
After you accept and pay the quote, the technician who inspected the job does the work, with an assistant if the report says one is needed. You agree to give access to the site on the agreed day and to make sure the location is safe to work in. Extra work that is not part of the quote, such as rewiring or building work, is quoted separately.
7. Warranty
Hardware warranty: [[Add: manufacturer and our warranty terms per category]]. Workmanship warranty: [[Add: workmanship warranty period and conditions]].
8. Cancellation and refunds
See the refund policy. It forms part of these terms.
9. Your consumer rights
Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Nigerian consumer protection law, including the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act 2018.
10. Liability
[[Add: limitation of liability wording, written or approved by a lawyer]]
11. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. [[Add: dispute process and court or arbitration wording]]
12. Changes
We may update these terms. The terms in force when you send a request apply to that request and the job that follows.
