What we do

Phones and laptops

Faults that stop a phone or laptop charging, starting or working properly.

Circuit boards

Faults on the board inside a device or appliance.

TVs and fridges

A TV with no picture or sound, or a fridge that no longer cools.

Washing machines and small appliances

Machines that will not start, spin or drain, and smaller household appliances.

Typical jobs

  • A phone or laptop that will not charge or switch on.
  • A TV with no picture or no sound.
  • A fridge that is running but not cooling.
  • A washing machine that will not spin or drain.

What the inspection checks

  • What the device does, and what it does not do.
  • The make, model and the label on it.
  • Whether the fault can be repaired, and what the repair needs.
  • Whether a repair makes sense compared with replacing it.
  • Where the device is and how the technician can reach it.

After the visit you read an inspection report, then a quote with materials, delivery and labour as one total. You decide after you have seen both.

Questions people ask

All questions

Is it worth repairing my device?

The report says whether a repair makes sense, and the quote shows the cost before you decide. If you say no, nothing more is charged.

Can you repair a device I bought elsewhere?

Yes. Choose electronics and appliance repair and give the make and model in your request.

What should I send with my request?

Pictures of the device, the label with the make and model, and a short note on what it does and when it started.

Start with an inspection.

You see the inspection fee before you pay it, and it is taken off your quote if you go ahead. If you say no, nothing is charged.
